So happy to finally be able to share this, it's been a long wait... Originally released as an EP in 2011, now slightly reworked and remastered and wonderfully crowned with 6 remixes from all over the globe by artist friends whose work I admire greatly - Segue, Steve Pacheco, Pausal, Porya Hatami, Chihei Hatakeyama and Chris Herbert.
On a more professional note, I'm very excited to currently be working on the forthcoming animated tv-series LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures, as part of the sound team at Jelly Animation Sound Studios in Copenhagen.
We're doing foley, sound design and 5.1 mixes for all 13 brand new episodes in collaboration with Lucasfilm and Skywalker Sound in California, and I seriously don't think work can get more fun than this!
The series premieres on Disney XD on June 20th 2016.
I'm very happy to finally announce my next release, which is my first proper full-length album since 2012.
The name of this new work is 'Vesterhavet', and was slowly created over the course of the past 3 years. After some careful consideration I've decided to only release this digitally, meaning no CD's, LP's, cassettes etc will be made. There's a couple of reasons to this, but let's just keep it short and say it saves a lot of time and energy…
As of today, 'Vesterhavet' can be bought from my Bandcamp store, and will be distributed to other digital platforms shortly.
Here's a one minute preview from each track. Hope you enjoy and thank you for your patience.
I played my first live performance in the US on November 1st at Volume, organized by Yann Novak in conjunction with the release of my EP 'Pause', out on Dragon's Eye Recordings on October 30th. Big thanks to everyone who came out, and to Robert Crouch and Ryan Connor (Sublamp) who also played, it was a great experience anf I hope to come back sometime next year.
Today my EP 'Pause' was released on the excellent LA-based Dragon's Eye Recordings, a label of which I've been a big fan of for many years. I'm thrilled to be part of the roster and being surrounded by such great artists.
Label owner Yann Novak's own sound works has been a big inspiration while forming this EP, which is mainly based on source material from an unreleased track I made several years back, mixed with some newly recorded field recordings from the archipelago of Stockholm.
